The John Cotton Group is a family company established in 1916 with a strong traditional British textile heritage, based in the heart of West Yorkshire.
With an annual group turnover in excess of £200 million, the group employs over 1300 people and operates across the globe in UK and Continental Europe, Asia and Australasia.
The John Cotton Group invest considerably into the business. In the UK alone, we have invested over £20 million in R&D and capital expenditure over the last 3 years, as well as acquiring Tontine, the leading pillow producer in Australia. Furthermore, the Group has recently expanded in Continental Europe with a new ‘state of the art’ manufacturing site and ‘first class, cutting edge’ technical equipment.

The Nonwovens Division is based at our head office in Mirfield, UK and sits on a 13 hectare site located close to major road networks. We have a dedicated team of experts and experience which has accumulated over the last 100 years, therefore enabling us to provide a high level of support and technical knowledge to our customers.
We are proud to supply high loft nonwoven products to some of the UK’s largest and respected brands including Silentnight, Hypnos, Vispring, Sealy, Dreams, Relyon, B&Q, Hello Fresh, Mindful Chef and many more.
